An accomplished executive and Emmy-award-winning producer, Tony brings a wealth of experience in television, media, creative, tech, and business ventures. His multi-platform proficiency and a remarkable track record of tens of millions of content views showcases his ability to seamlessly navigate both creative vision and technical-budgetary considerations. Tony's journey at KVCR Public Media began as a consultant. It evolved into the role of Director of Operations for the PBS | NPR station and First Nations Experience (FNX), the sole national TV network dedicated to Native American & World Indigenous content. Demonstrating his leadership prowess, Tony transitioned from a post-production supervisor to spearheading a $16M station remodel, delivering it on time and $170K under budget. His responsibilities expanded to include overseeing an $11M annual budget, encompassing multi-year forecasting and cash-flow management for three business units, thirty-two grants, and a nonprofit foundation. Tony's strategic oversight extended to designing and implementing digital and streaming solutions for the local Radio and Television station and FNX, the national channel. 
Before his impactful role at KVCR, Tony was an assistant editor on the National Geographic documentary film Science Fair, which garnered a National Emmy, the SXSW Festival Favorite prize in 2019, and numerous festival accolades. Collaborating with SoulPancake, he managed the technical delivery of TV content to Disney Television and their ABC digital unit. As the producer and editor for The Terry Kath Experience, Tony premiered a feature film documentary at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, ultimately securing worldwide distribution through FilmRise. Tony's footprint extends to his work on over 200 videos and productionsmanaging clients' creative and budgetary details, showcased on platforms such as MTV, Sony, Honda Music, Uproxx Media, Vogue Italia, and Vanity Fair. Noteworthy among his producing experiences is an ad campaign for Oliver Peoples, shot at the iconic Hollywood estate of the late producer Robert Evans. Early in his career, Tony joined the LA start-up Dental Advantage, where his ingenuity in engineering a CRM software solution facilitated communication with over 100K dentists. Tony's efforts contributed to securing nearly $900K in sponsorship and membership sales in a single quarter. From there, Tony landed the enviable position as Employee No. Three at CarsDirect.com, an Idealab eCommerce company, playing a pivotal role as VP Web Dev in co-creating the business plan and securing $350M in Series C funding through meticulous presentation materials and site wireframes.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calif. On any given weekend, you can find him hiking, running, or camping in the mountains. He’s already checked the box on his bucket list for “go whitewater rafting in Costa Rica,” but “eating Orecchiette with broccoli rabe in the Italian town of Volturara Appula,” where his great grandparents are from, is still awaiting achievement.
